April 24/17 General Meeting
The Easter event at Heartland went very well, there were a lot of kids in 3 hours.
Characature seminar with Mike Sullivan sometime in June for one day.
Welland Market wondering if we would like to purchase a booth and rotate vendors from May 21-September 3, 9-2 pm.
Innovative Occupational Therapy Services is looking to enroll a client in private beginner wood carving classes and wondering if anyone would be interested.
The Butterfly Festival is Sunday, June 11 from 11-3 at Stevensville Conservation Area. If anyone interested, indoors or out, any ideas to improve festival. Butterflies and pollinators are main theme.
Niagara Falls Humane Society is holding a fund raising trivia night. Donations for a prize or auction would be great. A group of 8 can have a table for $200 for the evening.
Any interested parties in the above, talk to Barrie.
It’s that time of year again for nominations for any positions. There will be an executive meeting at Margie’s on Thursday May 4 at 7 pm.
We are wondering about ideas for the club project for next year. Beavers or Tims Cups have been floated about, any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Donations from this year’s show will be going to McNally Hospice in Grimsby. Gord Polych, his wife and daughter spent their last days there.
